Our Kitty Dental Program
This program was inspired back in October 2014 by our oldest resident kitty "Seven" (pictured above) who was 11 yrs. old at the time and with us for over 5 years then. Due to his age, we felt that Seven was in need of a dentistry and although our
Shelter could not afford this expense, we took Seven for his dentistry and learned that he had a lot of teeth missing and one loose tooth that was most likely causing him pain. The doctor extracted the loose
tooth and cleaned Seven's remaining teeth. Since Seven's dentistry, he seems happier and more alert. Even though we really couldn't afford this Vet. bill, we're so glad we took Seven for his dentistry so he feels better!
We'd like to continue to bring our other residents to the Vet. for a dentistry so
they don't have to wait as long as Seven did.... but we NEED YOUR HELP!!
Donations made towards our Dental Program will help our kitties get the oral care they need. Each dentistry cost approximately $350. When donations reach the
$350 goal, the next kitty waiting will go for their dentistry! Our resident kitties will go for their dentistry in the order of their age. If we have kitties
that are the same age, they will go in the order of how long they have been with us.
Our adorable boy "Frisbee" will be the next kitty to go for a dentistry once the $350 goal is raised!

Every person who donates towards a kitty's oral care will be listed as a supporting donor
below the kitty's picture at the bottom of this page (unless you want to remain anonymous).
Every donation helps reach the goal amount needed!
You can personally select and sponsor a kitty of "your choice" to go for their
dentistry by making the full $350 donation and selecting your favorite kitty!
Just go to "Our Resident Kitties" page and select any one of the kitties
that have a star below their photo. The star represents that they
are
ready for a dentistry. If a kitty does not have a star under their photo,
that means that they have not reached the age yet where a dentistry
is
needed or they had some kind of dental work done within the last year.
If you're making a full donation of $350, please be sure to specify the kitty of your
choice to go for a dentistry! Otherwise your
donation will go towards the next kitty waiting.

Please have no worries..... if any of our kitties shows signs of needing
immediate dental work, they will certainly get proper care without hesitaton
regardless of whether we can afford it.
Our residents:
Jeffrey (2x), Jordan (3x), Patrick (2x), Spirit,
Hollie, Seven, Sandy, Sasha, DJ, Treasure, Lucas (2x), Teddy (2x), Little Sprout & Tybo have all had dental procedures done (not through our Dental Program).
Our "Dental Program" is designed to help our kitties get the oral care they need BEFORE reaching
the point of showing signs of concern. Once a kitty shows signs of needing medical attention, that means they are suffering because kitties hide their illness well. We want to avoid ever having our kitties experience such discomfort, so we've created this plan in an effort to accomplish that.
